School Uniform

What is the school uniform?
We encourage the wearing of clothing which is suitable for the wide range of activities asked of the children during the day. Our school uniform is based upon royal blue/grey/white and sweatshirts embroidered with the school logo.

Extremes of fashion are to be avoided and clothes made from denim or loudly patterned materials are not encouraged. Footwear should be sensible dark coloured shoes or black trainers (separate trainers should be in school for PE lessons).

We ask parents to help us by ensuring that items of jewellery are not worn to school (this includes charity wrist bands). Exceptions to this rule are watches and studs/sleepers for those children with pierced ears (one stud/sleeper per ear in the conventional lobe position). Hair accessories can be worn but should be kept to a minimum e.g. plain alice bands, small slides and/or bows.  No responsibility can be taken for the custody of these items when they are necessarily removed for PE.  Long hair should be tied back.
